The Grocery Shop Vendor work at the grocery table where all Colonists get their Happiness products from. If a colony has no grocery table at all, they will go to the Banner instead and get the items from there. The vendor does not have any crafting recipes and the grocery tables itself can only be crafted by the player.
Placing one or more Grocery Shops will allow colonists to get their happiness quicker, with less travelling. Especially for Guards it is very important to have short travel times to make sure they reach their Job position quickly.
